WordPress introduced their new 2024 Theme with the updated core block editor. The first major update since 2015!
I have been learning this new editor since the beginning of the year. Part of my work flow has always been to take one of WordPress’s (WP) themes to create custom theme for my clients. Compared to the block editors of the paid Themes, it was very limited & I wrote a lot of custom CSS, HTML code to create my custom themes. With this new editor, I have much more flexibility & better tools to create a custom theme for my clients. THANK YOU OPEN SOURCED WORDPRESS!!! Now that I’m getting by the learning a new language for the editor, my work flow has speeded up & become more dynamic than before.
The other plus is this 2024 Theme is more secure & it will be harder for someone to hack in.
